Visits from family! Matt's sister Melinda and her family are actually moving back this summer . . . yahoo!
Kate's 5th birthday. I never met a girl so excited to go to school.
Anniversary getaway with Matt and a yummy dinner at La Dolce Vita in Provo. We treated ourselves to giant strawberry daiquiris.
St. Patrick's day dinner. Late, but green nonetheless. Irish soda bread and corned beef hash are so yummy! But I was the only one who liked the kale chips and pistachio pudding.
A trip to Arizona to visit cousins over Easter and conference weekend . . .
April Fool's Day food, courtesy Julia: grilled cheese (pound cake with frosting), vegetables (Starburst), and sushi (rice crispy treats with Swedish fish). The "lemonade" is gelatin and the kids were mad they couldn't drink it.
Our favorite springtime dessert, strawberry shortcake!
Anna, dressed up for a biography report on Rosa Parks
Anna's cute soccer team. They really had a good spring season. Anna had a great season.
Kate's first soccer season . . .
Talmage's last ballroom concert. We loved it! So great.
The first hike of the season, up to Bell Canyon Reservoir. So green from all the rain!

Field trip with Anna . . .
A fun outing with Anna and Kate to the Payson Temple open house. We went on the last day, so the lines were very long, but it was worth the wait to see inside this beautiful temple.
Traditional Memorial Day hike to The Living Room, above the U. An AMAZING view of the valley. We always eat at The Pie afterward.

Sitting in the "chairs" at the Living Room.
Visiting Grandma Karen and Grandpa Jerry's gravesite . . .
Kittens in the neighborhood. Anna is dying to have one. But we already have a cat we never meant to have!
Activities with big sisters who help mom out in the summer!
A Hanks family reunion up at Brighton . . . so much cousin fun! The kids had a blast.
What a great way to start the summer. I wish I could spend the whole summer up there in the beautiful, cool mountains. I also wish we could do this every summer with the cousins.
Scout trip to Lake Powell. Lucky boys!
